Imagix - Medical Imaging was founded in 2005. Today, the company is a subsidiary of Biron Health Group. It is the first network of medical imaging clinics in Quebec and now boasts 14 clinics that provide access to all medical imaging examinations and treatments.

Our adherence to Accreditation Canada’s high standards of excellence reflects our commitment to the quality and safety of the health care we deliver.
Imagix complies with the requirements of the renowned program established by Accreditation Canada, an independent, not-for-profit accreditation body affiliated with the Health Standards Organization (HSO). As part of the Accreditation Canada certification program, Imagix underwent a rigorous assessment process, managed by external peers, which allowed it to maximize strength and improve his services.
Following the most recent visits by Accreditation Canada, which took place in February 2019, Imagix was awarded the “Accredited with Exemplary Standing” status, with the exception of one clinic which received the “Accredited with Commendation” status. This amply demonstrates why our clinics are among the best radiology centres in Quebec.
Our history : key dates
2005
After spending several years studying the market and growth prospects, Geneviève Biron launches her intrapreneurship project, Imagix Medical Imaging, with her business partner, Dr. Maurice Dufresne. Imagix is the first network of medical imaging clinics in Quebec. The Laval-Laurentides de Chomedey Radiology Clinic, the first clinic to appear under this banner, is later renamed Imagix-Radiology Chomedey.
2006
The following years are marked by the acquisition of clinics to build the Imagix network, notably the South Shore Group, which includes the clinics in Brossard, Boucherville, Saint-Hubert and Longueuil, as well as the clinic in Saint-Laurent the following year.
2009
Imagix Medical Imaging remains unchanged, but its logo incorporates Biron’s “B” and adopts the grey and orange colours.
In addition, the Radiologie 2000 clinic in Blainville joins Imagix.
2010
The radiology clinics in Longueuil, Châteauguay and Granby join the Imagix network.
2011
Three other radiology clinics join Imagix: Montréal-Nord, Rivière-des-Prairies and Laënnec. The two Imagix clinics located in Longueuil merge and move into renovated premises.
2012
The Momed Radiology Clinic joins Imagix under the name of Imagix - Radiologie Cabrini.
2014
Imagix Medical Imaging obtains its very first certification from Accreditation Canada and the Récollets de Trois-Rivières Radiology Clinic joins the network.
2018
Construction and opening of a new Imagix's clinic in Ste-Dorothée.
2020
Construction and opening of a brand new Imagix clinic in Laval on Highway 440.
2023
Relocation of the Imagix St-Eustache clinic and addition of Computed-Tomography (CT-Scan) service.
