Imagix provides you with expedited services in the event of an emergency, which includes an appointment within 24 hours and a report sent to your healthcare professional in less than an hour.
The ultrasound is deemed urgent if requested by your doctor and it meets specific criteria established by ImagixTM.
What are the delays of an emergency ultrasound?
Imagix’s diagnostic centres give you access to emergency ultrasound services. In less than 24 hours, often that same day, you can get an appointment for your examination. As soon as the ultrasound is finished, the report is sent to your healthcare professional in less than an hour.

A medical prescription is required to perform this examination. The cost of this examination is covered by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) at Imagix when prescribed by a physician.*
